Since that time I have worked with countless businesses,
community organizations, and local government agencies assisting
them in the recognition and resolution of accessibility issues.
I am an avid sportsman who enjoys the great outdoors, a member
of the Charlottesville Cardinals wheelchair basketball team,
The National Wheelchair Pool-players Association, and The
National Wild Turkey Federation Wheelin' Sportsmen. When
I am not advocating in the boardroom, or participating in
one of the many sports or recreational opportunities available
to people with disabilities today, I am diligently at work
within the community
advocating for change.
Utilizing the ADA guidelines and the personal
experience I have acquired over the past 21 years, as an individual
with a disability, I am able to impart a practical understanding
to "mainstream" business as to the basic social
needs of persons with disabilities and aging Americans.
Our mission at Compliance Alliance is to
network and to expand upon opportunities which enhance the
quality of life for all Americans. We need to begin to visualize
the ADA in terms of Universal Design, which proposes that
buildings, products and services or just about anything else
in our society should be designed with all users in mind.
Through education and awareness training
we seek to increase the market potential of businesses such
as yours by teaching strategies that support the inclusion
of all Americans.
